Spring scents

Spring is the time when customers put away heavy, spicy candles and look for lightness. In this collection, we have gathered 22 fragrance oils that best reflect this change: blooming notes of freesia, rose, and violet, clean cotton, green tea, and lavender, complemented by fresh accents of citrus and green apple. These are the scents of a waking garden and spring cleaning, which the end customer reaches for when they want to bring freshness into their home.

For candle makers, this is the natural start of the season: lines for Easter, Mother's Day, and the first outdoor markets. All oils work in soy and paraffin candles, tarts, and soaps. For each product, you will find recommended dosage, flash point, and complete documentation: IFRA, safety data sheet, and a list of allergens for the CLP label.

Our sales data show that demand for floral notes begins as early as February, long before the first warm days. Fruity and vacation compositions have been collected separately in the summer fragrances collection.

Spring Scents for Candles: How to Open the Season in Your Workshop

Spring changes customer expectations faster than any other season. After months of spicy and gourmand compositions, light, clean, and floral scents come to the forefront. In this collection, we have gathered 22 fragrance oils that, according to our sales data, perform best from February to May, ranging from clean cotton and lavender, through freesia and rose, to green tea and juicy green apple.

Which Notes Build a Spring Line?

The core of the collection consists of four groups of notes:

  • Floral: freesia, rose, violet, and delicate bouquets that evoke a blossoming garden;
  • Clean: cotton and soapy freshness, i.e., the scents of spring cleaning;
  • Herbal: lavender, green tea, and matcha, a natural choice for relaxation and spa lines;
  • Fruity-Citrus: green apple, lemon with mint, and tangerine, which add energy to the whole.

Dosing Spring Compositions

Light floral and green notes are more delicate than winter gourmands, so before producing a series, check the recommended concentration on the product data sheet and make a test candle. Most oils from this collection work at concentrations from 3 to 10 percent, both in soy and paraffin waxes, as well as in tarts and soaps.

When to Order Spring Supplies

Demand for floral notes starts in February, peaking around Easter and Mother's Day. If you are planning a spring candle line, order your raw materials in winter: bestsellers from this collection, such as clean cotton or freesia, sell out first.

Complete Documentation for Sale

For each oil, we include an IFRA certificate, a safety data sheet, and an allergen list needed for CLP labeling. You can introduce a finished spring candle for sale without having to compile documentation on your own, including at fairs and brick-and-mortar stores.
