Spicy and oriental scents
Cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, ambergris, and musk. A family of ingredients that form the basis of heavier evening compositions and warming seasonal lines, popular from October to February. They work well in candles with a higher wax content, allowing the base notes time to develop. With each fragrance oil, we include recommended dosages, flashpoint, and a complete set of documents required for selling finished products.

Spicy and oriental scents: building depth
Cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, amber, and musk are notes that give a composition weight. In the fragrance pyramid, they most often act as heart and base notes, which is the part that lingers in the room long after the candle is extinguished.
Why they last longer
Molecules of base notes evaporate more slowly than light citrus accords. This is an advantage, as the scent lasts longer, but it requires patience in evaluation: a spicy composition immediately after pouring may seem weaker than it actually is. It shows its full potential after curing.
What they pair with
This family forms autumn, winter, and holiday lines, but also works well in compositions described as oriental or sensual, which sell regardless of the season. It blends well with gourmands and woody notes, but less so with light florals, which disappear next to it.
Production practice
Spicy notes can be coloring, so with light waxes, it's worth doing a color test before a larger batch. We provide recommended dosage and flash point on each oil's product card, along with a complete set of documents for the CLP label.
