• 3 x 7- burns a candle to a diameter of approx. 30 mm
• 3 x 10- burns a candle to a diameter of approx. 32 mm
• 3 x 13- burns a candle to a diameter of approx. 35 mm
• 3x15 -burns a candle to a diameter of approximately 45 mm
• 3x18 -burns a candle to a diameter of approx. 55 mm

The above values areapproximate.The tests were conducted on paraffin.It should be noted that the following also affect how a candle burns: the type of raw material, the amount of dyes/fragrance oils, the shape of the container, and the shape of the candle.

The difference between type N wicks and 3x... wicks lies in their different construction, weave, and the type of yarn used. Type N wicks are universal wicks, while type 3x... wicks are mainly used in table candles and pillar candles.
