Stabilo cotton wicks – 14 cm

Wedo's Stabilo wicks are among the most popular and highly regarded wicks used in candles.

1. Stabilo wicks are flat, coreless wicks with a special paper weave that increases their stiffness and improves burning properties. These wicks are designed to ensure maximum and even wax absorption, resulting in a stable flame and minimizing smoke and soot deposits.
   
2. These wicks are especially recommended for scented candles, including jar candles and pillar candles. They are compatible with paraffin waxes, wax blends, and harder-to-melt plant-based waxes, such as soy wax.
   
3. With any new wax and oil blend, testing is recommended to ensure the wick performs properly. Different waxes, scents, and colors can affect candle burning, so testing is crucial for achieving the best results.
   

These wicks:

• They are 14 cm long – suitable for smaller and larger candles, and can be trimmed;
• They are coreless and braided flat, which promotes even burning of the candle;
• are made ofpure cottonand intertwined with a brown paper thread – that'snaturalproduct;
• were coatedwick impregnation agentto maintain protection against moisture, etc.

Burning diameter:
Stabilo 4 - will extinguish a candle with a diameter of less than 5 cm
Stabilo 8 - will extinguish a candle with a diameter of 5 - 5.7 cm
Stabilo 12 - will extinguish a candle with a diameter of 6.3 - 7.5 cm
Stabilo 16 - will extinguish a candle with a diameter of 8.3 - 8.9 cm
Stabilo 20 - will extinguish a candle with a diameter of 9.5 - 10.8 cm
Stabilo 24 - will burn out a candle with a diameter of about 10 cm
Stabilo 30 - will burn a candle with a diameter of approximately 11 cm

The burn-out diameter was determined based on tests conducted by the manufacturer.

Please note that the following also affects candle burning:the type of raw material, the amount of colorants/fragrance oils, the shape of the container or the shape of the candle. Before you start producing a larger quantity of candles, we recommend conducting your own tests.
